Long Gone

No, I will not savor your every word
Nor will I cherish every moment we share
I will not hang on the edge of your presence
Or wither away in your embrace
I refuse to look you in the eyes
Or dry the tears that fall from them
Because the last I remember, was it not I who brought them about?
Was it not I who caused you "excruciating pain"
I have finally approached my nerve's end
I give the credit for my quick arrival to you
But nothing more will you recieve
You deserve a life of emptiness and dissapointment
You are not capable of holding my head
Above these drowning waters
You are unable to shield my heart
From betrayl's infuriating motives
I am tearing down our once beautiful threshold
One wooden plank at a time
Setting fire to it all
Watching the reflection of its glowing flames
In my unrested eyes
Then selling the ruins for face value
Let the wind blow the last remnances of ash away
Look on as I make a mess of my life
And blame your selfish ways
I will take this truck
With all of our past times and loving words exchanged
And drive off into the blue horizon
So you can forget my name

A Lover's Torture

This knife's blade seems so appealing now,
I am captivated by it's defined capabilities.
May I stab you in the spine, such as you have done unto me?
May I watch your blood gush and then wash the windows with it?
Will you give me the honor to watch this silver bullet's reflection in your emotionless eyes?
To look on as the cold lead punctures into your empty heart?
Can I force your head under the water and hold you until your corpse sinks and disappears into the abyss?
May I set fire to your threshold with my faded love's flame?
So you can feel its warmth and see the vibrance it once possessed?
Can I wrap my hardened hands around your throat I've kissed amorously a thousand times?
While you gasp for breath as I once did all the nights I cried for what seemed like forever... over you.
Kiss my venomous lips as you are hypnotized by my alluring eyes.
Allow me to suck every ounce of life from you, and inhale your last breath.
Let me adorn your tears and wear your blood as my attire.
Give me the permission to take you away without a trace.
Away from this world, this reality.
And as you beg and plead upon my mercy's behalf, may the profession of your love unto me be your last words...

Escalation

You make my senses go into overdrive.
You then walk away,
Leaving me to keep up the pace.
You return eventually,
But only to turn them off completely.
This switch is slowly beginning to rust away,
Every time you lay your gentle hands upon it.
As it sparks and malfunctions,
You give up in vain and frustration.

But let me ask you,
May I ride your emotions like a roller coaster?
Can I use your affections like that of a faucet?
Can I throw your feelings into the fire,
I prefer to call reality.
As you have done unto me countless times.
Would you like me to profess my love for you tonight,
But act in the mannerism of hatred tomorrow?
Do you want me to praise you in this hour,
and forget you the next?
Or would you rather me hang onto this thread,
this thread you've left me to dangle upon?
Would you like me to follow you like the bible,
and worship you like a god?
Never ceasing my feelings no matter how much yours fade?
Would it make you happy if I left your Kodak picture- of a life?
To enable it to be ignorant bliss?
Or to stay
Just so your life has an ounce of imperfection?
Would it bring a smile to your face,
If I told you that you are beautiful?
Or would is only distance you farther from me?
Does it warm your heart,
knowing I'd give anything to hold you for eternity?
Are you haunted by the memories of our past
Just as much as I?
Do you feel guilt when you see my face?
Or hear me whisper "I love you" in fear you will overhear?
Do you get chills,
When you read the thousands of letters and proclamations,
I've written to you?
Do you realize what you do -to me?
You play with my heart and mind,
As if it were a game.
Well all toys break my love,
Take that as a warning.
For I will love you today my darling,
But there is no telling if I will tomorrow.

Ultimate Sacrifice

Hold your breath,
Close your eyes,
Feel the bitter wind slice across your pale face.
Dream that you are roaming amongst the heavens,
When your true surroundings resemble hell.
Notice how the sun commits itself behind the dark clouds,
How all the color is swallowed by an intimidating layer of fog.
Awake your senses to the roar of the crowd,
Pleads from the victims.
As the chaos intensifies itself to an unbearable peak,
Stand within this mass of people.
Turn your attention towards this broken stage.
Watch as I approach the gallows of suffering and sacrifice.
Notice my worn hands,
As they are bound to this stake.
See how my veins are severed in half.
My ankles,
How they have been tied and stapled,
To this wretched wooden plank.
I have been beaten and stripped - from my attire and pride.
Lead the standing ovation,
as they mount a crown of barbed wire atop my head.
See the pained expression within my eyes.
Embrace the dagger you thrust into my heart,
For by your hands I yearn to die.
When the blood cascades,
From my every pore,
Will you wince in remorse?
Or merely smile in accomplishment?
I have given myself,
In spite of your sins.
For all of suburbia will rest in peace tonight.
As the fires dim to embers,
Like my being to ash.
Know this has always been for you.
As the dust settles,
And the crowd thins,
Leaving you standing alone in the cold.
Think of me,
My last words uttered,
And my memory.
For you are the true victim
of this urban crucifixion.
And when the moon appears again,
And the stars continue to shine.
Let that be an eternal sign
That you have forever been forgiven.

Phantasy

You're standing there alone,
Wind whispering in your ears.
For you are at peace,
With yourself and the sky.
Your eyes have no distinct shade,
but that of depth- reason.
As the ominous clouds allow a mere ray of sunshine to dote upon you,
it appears as though you were created with far more passion and skill.
Far more than any other mortal placed upon this earth.
Almost as if you are not a mortal at all.
An angel, a divine spirit that graces this world...and me, with your presence.
But the reality is- you are not an angel, nor a kin of satan.
You are the possessor of my heart,
The bandit who has stolen my words.
You reside in my dreams and lighten my soul.
The smile my lips adorn,
The hope within my eyes,
It is all you.
